MODEL UNITED NATIONS HELD IN BEIJING
The WEMUN ( Model United Nations) was held in Beijing in 2014 and for the first time, nine students of Pailan World School took part in the event. Joyaditya Saha of AS Level received an honorary mention certificate at the end of the conference where students from all over the world took part and spoke on different global issues in different committees. An ex-member of the People’s Republic of China who was a member of the United Nations was the chief guest for the occasion.
Not only does Model United Nations provide one with a chance to sharpen their public speaking skills, but it also allows one to connect with a wide variety of people all over the world. These social interactions will definitely prove helpful in today’s modern and competitive world. Also, it is always great to learn more about the people of different nations and their lifestyles. It is a great opportunity to participate in MUN.

Our students have won 2 gold and 2 silver medals in the All India Kubota Cup Karate Championship at Priyadarshini Sports Complex, Mumbai under the guidance of our martial art instructor Mr. Tirthankar Nandy, a State Champion as well as a National Champion in Martial Arts.
