Career dreams no longer beyond the reach of the middle class families.
We have observed that after the completion of Higher Secondary (CBSE, ISC, WBCHSE), students and parents suffer from a unique dilemma. They go through a phase of uncertainty regarding the selection of the right college, the preferred stream and the preferred course.
This programme aims at reducing that uncertainty and search cost of choosing the right stream after ISC. A student taking admission in class XI can choose from an array of 14 professional undergraduate courses as per his/her preferences.
Other Undergraduate Courses
A student from Commerce or Humanities stream can select a graduation degree from following areas: Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Computer Application(BCA), Bachelor of Hospital Management( BBA in HM), Bachelor of Travel tourism Management(BTTM), Bachelor of Hospitality and Hotel management ( BHM), B.Sc in Media Science(BMS).
Apart from the aforementioned disciplines, students of Science stream can also opt for shipping or maritime courses at Trident College of Marine Technology (TCMT) that has undertaken an extensive programme to impart quality training for Pre-sea and Existing Seafarers so that they are able to upgrade their knowledge, keeping in pace with current industry trends. In order to maintain its position in the forefront of technology and its ability to offer highly trained technical personnel in the International Maritime World, TCMT, The largest maritime training institute in Eastern India, is actively associated in maritime-based research and development programmes.
with 5/6 years integrated ISC – Graduation Programme
For the last twenty years, we have been contributing to the field of education by providing quality education to our students along with the following:
It is a general practice among students who have opted Science at the plus two level to undertake training programmes at professional institutions to crack certain mandatory qualifying examinations like JEE (Mains and Advanced) and NEET. The same is observed among the students of Humanities and Commerce streams to qualify for CLAT, CA FOUNDATION, CA, ICWA, CET and CS.
Such engagement beyond the school hours is not only time consuming that robs the students of valuable time for self study but also encumbers the parents with a heavy financial burden.
Besides transacting the ISC curriculum, the teachers in collaboration with experts such as ex-IIT-ians, medical practitioners, Chartered Accountants, ex-IIM Professors will conduct extensive training to prepare the students adequately for the engineering and medical entrance examinations such as JEE (Mains and Advanced) and NEET. For those who do not wish to opt for engineering or medical, will be given ample training to equip themselves with the requisite knowledge and skills to get through various competitive examinations like CLAT, CA FOUNDATION, CA, ICWA, CET and CS. conducted by the State and Central Government.
*** At the undergraduate level, stalwarts of different professional sectors in sync with our teachers will provide training on a regular basis over 3/4 years to ensure that our undergraduate students of different streams develop the confidence, knowledge, expertise and technical know-how to emerge successful in the entrance examinations conducted for jobs in the Government sector like West Bengal Civil Services, Banking, Railways and others.
We are offering the same specialized training absolutely free of cost
Market study shows that professional institutions that offer specialized training programmes to students of the plus two level for competitive examinations charge almost Rs. 1.2 lakhs during the two year programme.
PGI is offering the same specialized training absolutely free of cost as a result of which the parents will be spared the burden of paying such an exorbitant amount for the career progression of their wards.
Moreover, those students who enroll themselves for this integrated programme will be entitled to a scholarship of Rs. 75,000 which they can avail on an equal apportionment basis, that is, every year Rs. 15,000 will be waived from the tuition fee. Thus, parents will be getting a cost leverage of almost Rs. 2,00,000.
