On the auspicious day of Vasant Panchami, we celebrated Saraswati Puja in our heritage centre. The Heritage centre was decorated with merigold garland and mango leaves. At the entrance of the Heritage centre a floral gate was made with different types of leaves and flowers. Children of different classes started arriving from 8.00am with full enthusiasm. The teachers along with other staff members had been allotted their duties previously and all of them looking gorgeous were busy at work. The puja started with all the Pailan family members sitting together. After the puja, there were two dance performances by our children. The girls performed with the Saraswati Vandana. The teachers who were in-charge of the Prasad distribution were very busy. Everything was ready and so well arranged. Pupils sat and enjoyed the fruits and sweets. They were free to play around and so were very happy. At 12.00noon everyone present were invited to the dinning hall for the special lunch. Delicious khichuri, mixed and fried vegetables along with dessert were served. The bus took back the children around 12.30pm most of them unwilling to leave, but had to. Each member enjoyed the day in their own special way and all are looking forward for the celebration next year.
