1. Pailan College of Management & Technology (PCMT):

ISO 9001-2000 Certified – a Rs. 16-crore project on a 10 acre site at Bengal Pailan Park, Joka (120,000 sq. ft. built-up area, with another 55,000 sq. ft. added in late 2004), offering a host of career-focused Bachelors’ and Post-graduate courses – including the coveted MBA through the IIM-benchmarked, nationwide CAT score-card enrolment criterion. The college is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (Ministry of HRD, Government of India) – Local Examination Syndicate for Business English Certification courses. It is affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology.

2. Trident College of Marine Technology (TCMT) :

ISO 9001-2000 Certified – a Rs. 9-crore project on a 5-acre site at Bengal Pailan Park, Joka, offering three Pre-sea residential courses for challenging careers on the high seas: 1-year diploma in Nautical Science leading to B.Sc in Nautical Science; Pre-sea G.P. Rating (duration 6 months); and Saloon Rating (duration 4 months). Approved by Directorate General of Shipping Government of India, the college enjoys the distinction of having produced more than 1500 professional seafarers for the Indian/International shipping fraternity between February 2002 and March 2005.

3. Trident Marine Services & Yogi Seaways:

Spearheading the Pailan Group’s ‘offshore’ thrust, Trident Marine Services – an ISO 9001-2000 Certified body – is empanelled with the Shipping Corporation of India for supply of maritime manpower. In addition to this, TMS also offers specialized services like Ship Management and Chartering Ship Supplies, to name a few. Body-shopping for Manning (Crew/Officers) is also one of TMS’ core competencies. Under the high mast of Yogi Seaways, the Pailan Group operates its own sea-cargo vessels, MV Andaman Victory and MV Andaman Fortune. These two ships also serve as an offshore training campus for the students of Trident College of Marine Technology.

4. Pailan School of International Studies (PSIS):

A Rs. 13-crore project on a 5-acre site (48,000 sq. ft. built-up area), at Bengal Pailan Park, Joka. Inaugurated by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal, Mr. Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee, on 29 November 2003, PSIS addresses the new and expanding horizons of vocational opportunities. PSIS offers Bachelors courses in Business Administration, Computer Application, Hospitality Management, Media Science and Travel & Tourism Management under WBUT.

5. Pailan World School (PWS):

A Rs. 100-crore project on a 50-acre site (7-star, 1880-square-feet-per-child school environs with a 500-metre Water Sports Track) – an ambitious backward integration Primary-to-Middle-to-High School project offering three top-of-the line transnational curricula. The acclaimed Pearson Schools and FIFA are consulting partners to Pailan World School where Primary Day-boarding academic sessions were formally launched on 6th April 2005. Commencing academic session 2006, the school is slated to commission all its globally-benchmarked facilities together with the 100% residential Middle-High School section. The school is Eastern India’s first with the coveted Cambridge University International Examinations affiliation. We also have a provisional affiliation from The Council for The Indian School Certificate Examinations, New Delhi.

6. Pailan Aviation Institute (PAI):

7. Pailan Academy of Competitive Examinations (PACE):

Inaugurated in February 2005 by Mr. Satya Sadhan Chakraborty, the Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, Government of West Bengal, PACE truly underscores the Pailan Group’s commitment to help Bengal regain its position of pre-eminence on the national administrative and banking services’ map of India. The academy prepares eligible aspirants for the rigors of both written and oral tests conducted by Recruitment Boards and other designated bodies engaged in screening incumbents for government services employment or for admission to higher-level, specialized academic courses.

8. Pailan Park Development Authority & Bengal Pailan Park:

Housing and Infrastructure Development are issues central to the state of West Bengal and, equally, to the Pailan Group where major resources and tie-ups have been expressly dedicated to the ‘building’ mission. The Group’s flagship Pailan Park Infrastructure Development Authority Ltd. is currently in a joint-sector initiative with West Bengal Transport Infrastructure Development Corporation Ltd. to create Eastern India’s single largest integrated township – Bengal Pailan Park, the three phases of which envisage a staggering 16,00,000 square feet of built-up commercial, residential and community spaces. Another mega project underway finds Pailan Park Infrastructure Development Authority Ltd., in partnership with the Sports Department, Government of West Bengal, blazing a 32-crore-rupee trail at Bratachari Gram, Thakurpukur – by way of a joint sector sports complex and Eastern India’s first-of-its-kind automobile engineering college.

9. Apurba Productions:

At the forefront of the entertainment/media industry in West Bengal, Apurba Productions is busy benchmarking new professionalized standards that have so far eluded what was once the hub of creative expression in India. In a span of two years (2003-2004), Apurba Productions did its industry and, indeed, the Pailan Group proud with two runaway box office successes on the silver screen. Currently it has a large portfolio of television serials, including Satabdir Janani Sarada Moni (Zee Bangla) and Punorutthan (Doordarshan). A major landmark for Apurba Productions is already in the making at Bengal Pailan Park – its very own studio, complete with state-of-the-art cine, digital video and audio facilities on a 5-acre site, the foundation stone for which was laid on 12th March 2005 by eminent film personality, Mr. Soumitra Chatterjee.

10. Pailan Film & Television Institute (PFTI):

People from around the country come to PFTI to pursue their educational goal, and they share one thing in common a passion for creative careers in the entertainment and media industry. Each one of our programs is designed to provide students with knowledge and real world experience that will help them realize their career goals in the entertainment and media industry. PFTI campus is designed to provide students with educational environments that are on par with some of the best production facilities. In these studios, labs, and classrooms student gain real world experience with the creative and technical tools employed at all levels of the industry.

In our increasingly media-saturated culture, the need for media literacy is crucial and the opportunities for Film Study students are remarkably diverse. Film studies are an exciting discipline that understands film’s emotional and intellectual appeal. Film studies diploma opens doors to many other spheres, including media management, film and TV research, Journalism, publishing, advertising, cultural entrepreneurship, NGO’s, marketing, public relations and education.

11. Ascon Agro PE & B:

Leveraging the agricultural strengths of West Bengal with world-class process technology, Ascon Agro makes its first mechanized production foray at Dhaniakhali in the Hooghly District of West Bengal – setting up a 3600 MTPA Potato Flakes Plant (a 100% EOU) in technical and financial collaboration with AFT/PB Conceal of France (2AMIS Group). The Foundation Stone for the Dhaniakhali Plant was laid jointly by Monsieur Nicolas Forissier, the Hon’ble Minister for Agriculture, Food Processing, Fisheries & Rural Affairs, Government of France, and Mr. Sailen Sarkar, Hon’ble Minister for Food Processing & Horticulture, Government of West Bengal. Christened ‘Unit #1’, this project is a precursor to much more on Ascon Agro’s ambitious anvil.

12. Pailan Arrows

Pailan Arrows is a football club is based in Kolkata, India. Founded in 2010 under a different name, it is owned and managed by the All India Football Federation and Pailan Group. The club, which started playing at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Gurgaon, was set up in order to provide regular first team playing opportunities to youngsters and with a target of qualifying for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
