Having worked for over 38 years in one of the most reputed institutions in Kolkata, I have felt that experimental approach is highly engaging & helps students better connect academic concepts to real life.
As such, a conducive school ambience is an important determinant in student success. In order to be most effective, learning in our institution occurs in a safe, inclusive & child friendly environment, one that promotes respect & a sense of belonging. We aim for “systematized education” which is a rather new occurrence, as there are shifting trends in education. Observe, Explore, Analyze, Evaluate and Infer are some of the major cognitive tasks carried out by both teachers & students to complete the circle. Inculcating the basic values of life is a major goal oriented activity in our institution. I believe in empowering students to live in and contribute to a changing society. I firmly believe that each individual is born with potential which we should try to scale up to the height of success by fostering creativity and logic. I consider the present era to be “The New Quality Century”. I believe that the best will find their way to the top of the worldwide market place of human talents. “Character- Building” education and shaping citizens are the ethos of our institution.

She was the head of the institution for one of the most reputed schools in Kolkata for over
13 years.
A highly decorated academic and principal, she has been conferred the prestigious Dronacharya Award twice (2019, 2021) by the “Peerless Pratibha” for her stewardship of her previous school.
She has also been awarded the Best Principal award at the Zonal, District , and the National levels by SOF
Her list of achievements also includes the honour of being a panelist in the Silver Jubilee Celebration of Ramkrishna Mission, Narendrapur. She has also been awarded the “Khelo India Fitness Assessment Programme Certificate” by CISCE. She was awarded the Inspiring Best Teacher Award by University of Engineering and Management
